We start with a diagnostic of academics, activities, and goals to position your “spike” and narrative. We map deadlines across Early Action/Restricted Early/Regular and build a weekly work plan. You’ll get line-by-line editing on the personal statement, UC PIQs, and every supplement, with voice-preserving revisions and clear guidance on what to cut, keep, and strengthen. We calibrate your school list by admissibility, fit, and merit aid potential, then create targeted essay angles for each campus. You’ll practice interviews with realistic questions and actionable feedback on delivery, stories, and follow-ups. Expect fast turnarounds on drafts, strict version control, and a simple checklist so nothing slips. The result is a sharp, authentic application portfolio that reads clean and moves committees toward yes.
What we provide
Personal Statement Coaching (Draft + Review)
- For many colleges, the personal statement can be the deciding factor between an acceptance or a rejection. Who are you? How will you stand out in a pile of thousands of applications?
- We will help you draft an initial skeleton of your college personal statement and advise you on which experiences and qualities should be highlighted to capture attention.
- Already have a draft? We’ll show you how to take it from “meh” to magical. Input will come from essay experts, current college students, and an admissions counselor with real admissions experience.
- Prior to the call, you’ll send us your draft. During the call, we’ll provide strategic edits and guidance to strengthen your essay and make it truly competitive.
- All the above services and activities list optimization included.
Secondary Application Assistance:
- College admissions aren’t merely limited to the Common Application or Coalition Application portals. Every college has supplemental essays or additional forms to complete after you submit your main application.
- Many of these involve additional fees, essay prompts, or alumni interviews.
School Selection:
- There are over 4,000 accredited colleges and universities in the United States. Each is exceptionally competitive and has a slightly different definition of what it deems an “ideal candidate,” which begs the following questions:
- Where do I have the best shot? What schools are realistic? Which schools are “reach” schools? Which schools align with your academic and career goals?
- We will use a combination of anecdotal experience, statistics, and contacts within the world of college admissions to prepare for you a bespoke list of institutions best suited to your application. This will be completed via video call, and following the call, we will provide you with the list.
Interview Preparation:
- I’m nervous about my college interview: What questions might they ask? How can I make a great impression?
- We will simulate the interview scenario, asking common college interview questions and providing constructive feedback to sharpen your responses.
- Current college admissions professionals and students will give you tips on communication skills, professionalism, and confidence to help you stand out in the interview.
