We audit your academic record, DAT plan, clinical exposure, shadowing, volunteering, and leadership to define a credible dental narrative. Then we build your ADEA AADSAS application: personal statement, experiences, hours, honors, and activity phrasing that shows impact, not tasks. We advise on DAT timing and prep sequencing, letter strategy, and targeted school selection by mission fit, residency, and competitiveness. If a program uses supplemental prompts, we build a response bank and edit for precision and professionalism. Interview preparation covers traditional and MMI formats with structured feedback on content, ethics scenarios, and chairside communication. You get clear timelines, draft deadlines, and rapid edits so your file moves early and presents you as a prepared future clinician.
What we provide
Personal Statement Coaching (Draft + Review)
- For many dental schools, the personal statement can be the deciding factor between an acceptance or a rejection. Who are you? How will you stand out in a pile of 3,000+ applications?
- Sometimes, all it takes is a little push to get the ball rolling. We’ll help you draft an initial skeleton of your dental school personal statement and guide you on which life experiences and qualities should be emphasized.
- Already have a draft? We’ll show you how to take it from “meh” to magical. Input will come from essay experts, current dental students, and an orthodontist with admissions experience.
- Prior to the call, you’ll send us your draft. During the call, we’ll provide detailed feedback and targeted edits to elevate your essay to the highest level.
Secondary Application Assistance:
- Dental school admissions aren’t merely limited to the centralized dental admissions portal (AADSAS). Every school has a supplemental application which is completed after you hit “submit” on AADSAS.
- Many of these involve additional payments, essays, or video-interview questions (such as KIRA assessment).
School Selection:
- There are 77 accredited dental schools in the United States, and 10 accredited dental schools in Canada, all of which are exceptionally competitive. Each school holds a slightly different definition of what they deem an “ideal candidate,” which begs the following questions:
- Where do I have the best shot? What schools are realistic? Which schools are “reach” schools? Which schools align with your vision of who you want to be in dentistry?
- We will use a combination of anecdotal experience, statistics, and contacts within the world of dental admissions to prepare for you a bespoke list of institutions best suited to your application. This will be completed via video call, and following the call, we will provide you with the list.
Interview Preparation:
- I’m nervous about my dental school interview: What questions might they ask? How can I make a great impression?
- We will simulate the interview scenario, asking common dental school interview questions and providing constructive feedback to sharpen your responses.
- Current dental students and admissions professionals will give you tips on communication skills, professionalism, and technical knowledge to help you feel confident during your actual interview.
